Sarah M. Bruner graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Virginia Tech in 2010. While at Virginia Tech, Ms. Bruner was inducted into Alpha Chi Sigma, the professional co-ed chemistry fraternity. Before joining Diederiks & Whitelaw, PLC in 2016, Ms. Bruner worked as a contractor for the USPTO, classifying pre-grant U.S. patent applications in the areas of Biotechnology, Organic Chemistry and Chemical and Materials Engineering. Ms. Bruner became a registered patent agent in 2012. For Diederiks & Whitelaw, PLC she conducts patentability, infringement and validity searches, prepares and prosecutes U.S. based patent applications and advises on the prosecution of foreign patent applications.
